Samir’s yellow taxi idled on the bustling city street, blending into the rhythm of honking horns and hurried footsteps. A woman in a green coat approached, suitcase in hand, and slipped into the back seat.
“Central Station, please—fast,” she urged, her voice tinged with urgency.
Samir nodded and expertly navigated the traffic. The woman fidgeted, glancing anxiously out the window. “Running late for a train?” he asked.
“Something like that,” she replied, her tone evasive.
Minutes later, she pointed to a corner near the station. Handing over the fare, she exited quickly but left behind a small envelope. Curious, Samir opened it to find a gold coin and a note:
“Thank you. If fate brings you here, come to this address.”
He stared at the mysterious address scribbled below. The ordinary ride had turned extraordinary, and Samir couldn’t help but wonder what adventure awaited.
